The trail begins in the centre of Drniš, next to the football pitch of the DOŠK club. After a few hundred metres, it joins the main street, Kralj Petar Krešimir Street, which you cross to enter Put Sv. Ivana Street. From here, the route climbs uphill towards the village of Badanj. Upon reaching the cemetery, the trail turns left and descends through the village towards the state road D33. Caution is required when joining the main road due to traffic. At this point, turn left towards Siverić, and just before the railway crossing, at 3.4 km, a steep two-kilometre asphalt climb begins physically demanding and leading up towards Siverić.

The route continues through Siverić and then descends towards Tepljuh, where it once again crosses the busy D33 road cyclists are advised to use caution. From there, the path continues briefly on flat terrain before climbing towards the village of Biočić, after which it descends again towards Miočić and Parčić. Upon exiting Parčić, turn right towards Kadina Glavica, where you cross the main road and continue along a smaller local road leading to the Čikola River.

After crossing the river, the route follows the left bank of the Čikola for a while before turning off towards the local road from Drniš to Kričke, which you join at the 29 km mark. On reaching this road, turn right towards Drniš, and after two kilometres turn right again onto a gravel track leading into the fields. Here, the route crosses the Čikola once more and follows a small local road back to the centre of Drniš and the starting point. If you prefer to avoid gravel, you can simply continue straight on the asphalt from Kričke directly to Drniš.

WARNINGS:

  • A gravel or MTB bike is recommended. The route can be completed on a road bike, but several hundred metres of gravel await you in the final kilometres.
  • Traffic is present along the entire route, so all road rules must be observed.
